High Court Setsback for Gays Nixon in First Term
The Supreme Court on its opening day refused to review lower court rulings affecting gays Nixon and school integration. It let stand rulings allowing firing of homosexuals and allowed release of Nixon tapes for civil suits. It also upheld busing desegregation in 11 Delaware districts and reviewed cases on female pension contributions and cross ownership limits.
