Miss Carol Irene Clodfelter and Wayne Douglas Baldwin were wed in a garden ceremony on Saturday and honored at two nuptial events. The rehearsal dinner featured fall flowers and gifts for attendants. A reception at the bride's home followed with a blue and green theme and about 65 guests.
Members of the Nature Study Garden Club will meet Thursday at 10 a.m. in the home of Mrs. Ross Davis. The Davis residence is at 605 Forrest Street.
About 300 people attended the Women of the Moose annual Hawaiian Luau at the Moose Lodge on N Main Street. Richard Terrell closed with Sweet Georgia Brown and Me and My Shadow. A Moose Lodge floor show in luau dress drew audience participation. Hosts and committee members listed with prizes a Little Brown Jug and carved coconut monkey.
