Revaluation requested for Corbitt acres in High Point
Spe Joseph F Snider of High Point appeared before the Guilford County commissioners in the October session seeking a reconsideration and revaluation of 183 acres of farm land inside High Point city limits. He appealed to the state board of equalization after the appraisal board refused to lower the tax value set at 83 600 for 183 acres, valued at 500 an acre less a 25 percent reduction. The commissioners urged the appraisers to reexamine the property with fair dealing in mind and offered to join if necessary.
