Mrs D A Parker Honored At "This Is Your Life" Event
Mrs D A Parker was celebrated with a "This Is Your Life" party at the YWCA. For 19 years she has taught the Royal Pearl Sunday School Class at Southside Baptist Church which she organized in 1943 with 15 members. A corsage of white carnations was given to her. Mrs F B Culler and Mrs W E Grissom moderated the event. Her immediate family, including her two grandchildren, attended.

College Faculty Wives Entertain at Fall Tea
The Faculty Wives Club of High Point College hosted its annual fall tea Saturday at the Grady Whicker home. Attendees included wives of new faculty and women from the college administration and teaching staff. Hostesses included Mrs. Whicker president and other officers. Mrs. Wendell M. Patton presided at the tea table. Refreshments served to 65 guests with autumn bronze and yellow floral arrangements from Mrs. P. E. Lindley.
