The Gospel Tabernacle of High Point formed in December 1934 under Rev. Homer P. Williams and joined the Christian and Missionary Alliance. The project began with Rev. Thomas H. Willey, who started an independent mission, leading to a 600 seat tabernacle built by 1939 and multiple pastors guiding the church to 606 Forest address with phone 41414 and tabernacle 55290.
