Eight year old Gloria Bargholt was lured from her home by Nelson alias Harry Spencer and others. N D Shepherd of Durham county was hurt when a commercial plane named Miss Raleigh piloted by H B Poindexter and aide L R Fisher nose dived at Carr farm near Durham. Shepherd suffered head cuts but the injuries were not serious. The pilot and aide were only slightly hurt.
An inquest will be held Monday into the death of James S. Watkins 71 found dead in a stone quarry near here. Coroner Frank Hovis said the body showed blast damage initially reported as caused by dynamite. Watkins leaves a widow and five daughters. funeral arrangements not announced.
Funeral services were held today for George W. Price, a six year forge instructor at North Carolina State College who died Friday. Born April 10, 1857 in Greenville New Hampshire he is survived by his son Percy W. Price director of music at the college. Interment will be in Greenville. All mechanical engineering class work was suspended in respect.

Report from Greenville says one Padgett brother and Red, sought by Mecklenburg county for a Monday battle with three officers, were heading to Hendersonville with a whiskey load. Sheriff Hill and Chief Powers held an all night vigil on the Greenville Hendersonville highway. the car did not appear and Asheville police were alerted. At 9 15 p m Hendersonville received word Romeo Padgett was in the car but is reported in a Charlotte hospital in critical condition.
The Rev. Willis T. Jordan, moved from Grand Rapids to Charlotte on a bigamy charge, collapsed in the county jail after receiving a letter from a supposed wife in West Virginia. A mental examination was arranged as bail remains set at 10000 dollars. preliminary hearing pending.
