Raleigh Nov 29 AP Willie M Person Franklin County resident and Louisburg attorney who started a second lawsuit after the first against the North Carolina Cotton Growers Co operative Association ended in non suit issues summonses returnable December 16 The association's general manager A B Blalock says the group has always sought publicity and that Person delivered three bales in 1923 and two in 1924 with reserve fund contributions of 3 72 in 1923 and 1 96 in 1924.
Cleveland Ohio date November 29 1926 AP Tris Speaker longtime leader of the Indians since mid 1919 resigns as manager stating no salary or club disputes. He will seek advancement in business and may have several propositions under consideration. He is the fifth AL manager to resign or be retired since 1926 end.
Dr. Hamilton Fiske Biggar long personal physician to John D Rockefeller Sr died in Cleveland at age 87. He served as Rockefeller family physician and contributed to medical circles in Ohio.
Two important cases will be heard in Municipal court Wednesday morning. Paul Jordan faces an assault with a deadly weapon charge and will plead self defense. O. R. Huffines is charged with running down and killing T. T. Windham with an automobile and will contend the act was an accident.

Ben Blythe aged 59 died at a local hospital last night after weeks of illness. A Waxhaw, North Carolina native, he had lived in High Point four years and worked for Lizzin and Wilson Construction. Survived by two brothers Isaac Blythe of Waxhaw and Jacks Blythe, and two sisters Mrs T W Sechrest of Waxhaw and Mrs Mary Sullivan of Fort Mills. Body sent to Waxhaw for funeral and interment.

Raleigh police in two counties continue to hunt for clues after the body of the rum runner known as Mighty Forsyth is found. The death car carried occupants Robert Lepark of Raleigh and Evelyn Britt of Durham. physicians report a fatal stab wound. Robert Stephen son remains at large.

A large fire in Taunton Mass. wiped out the Park Theater and the H O Rogers Silver Company factory causing estimated damages of about 1.5 million dollars. Fire crews fought the blaze for hours before bringing it under control.
The defense in the Hall Mills murder trial rested its case this afternoon after nearly seven days of testimony. Mrs Hall calmly faced questions from state witnesses at Somerville New Jersey and left the witness stand after a long examination.
