Asheboro Women’s Club Hear Speaker on Social Forum
The Asheboro Woman’s club met at Mrs. Charles M. Fox’s home with Miss Barbara Huff guest speaker on Harriet Elliott’s Social Science Forum Freedom and Security at Greensboro’s November event. Officers elected include Mrs. Martha Thompson as first vice president and Mrs. C. B. Hosson as second vice president. The club voted a donation toward a Bible teacher’s salary in city schools.
