Parachute lesson saves crew of crippled bomber

Six teen airmen aboard a B 36 parachuted to safety after an emergency radio lecture on parachuting by Sgt Gladstone Grigsby. Capt Clarence Horton landed the craft in heavy rain, aided by a tire failure and a cooling rain. One sergeant remained ensnared 30 minutes in a pecan tree before rescue.
