Guilford County Tops North Carolina Tax List With $160 Million Valuation
Guilford county maintains its position as the state’s wealthiest by valuation, reaching about $160.03 million in assessable property for taxation this year. The report notes growth across personal and real property categories, with a levy of $1,265,202 and a total county tax burden related to the assessed value, while other counties show smaller totals. County supervisor Mr. Hudson and commissioners praise the listing effort, citing the ongoing challenge of fully listing unlisted personal property.
