Tar Heels set for new season with fresh depth and guard mix
Kuester's replacement plan centers on Zaliagiris Virgil and Wood as Carolina reshapes its guard lineup. Virgil, praised as an offensive weapon, aims for more playing time after limited action last year while Zaliagiris emphasizes defense and confidence in a deeper rotation. Yonaker anchors the center spot as freshmen Budko Pepper join the 16-man roster, and Ford pledges unchanged intensity amid ACC battles and national ranking chatter.
