Alumni Association opposes lifting mailing list restrictions

Raleigh NC November 21 Directors of the North Carolina State College Alumni Association voted not to lift restrictions on the alumni mailing list. They reaffirmed the March 16 1948 policy barring release of names and addresses for non official use. Train Hits Two Cars In One Day

A freight train on a 50 mile branch line struck a car at a crossing near Evansville Indiana last night and again on its return trip early today. Don Joest 19 a Evansville College student was killed and a companion injured. William Blakely 36 of Henderson Kentucky was injured in the morning crash. Earlier this fall the same train killed two motorists at crossings on its Mount Vernon Fort Branch run.
