Respected Jamestown resident dies after illness
Francis Lofft Bevan aged 66 a well known Jamestown resident died at his home Sunday morning after double pneumonia. Funeral held at 2 30 this afternoon at St Mary's Episcopal with interment in Oakwood cemetery. Bevan born in England came to the US twenty five or thirty years ago and left a wide family in Jamestown and England. He was highly respected by neighbors and friends.
