Women Proud of Efforts In Organizing Local Church
The report recalls longtime volunteers who built and supported the local church community. Led by Rev. Roy Putnam, the women raised funds through cake and rummage sales and ice cream suppers to furnish the parsonage and church. A 1945 Williams Day funded furnishings and a baptismal cup, and a silver tea and bazaar are planned to honor charter members.
