Skylab 3 Astronauts Move Into Sizeable Orbital Home
Astronauts Gerald Carr Edward Gibson andWilliam Pogue prepare Skylab 3 for a three month stay in orbit. They moved into the space station after removing a hatch from the command ship and began steady activation and food transfer. Mission Control welcomed them and noted healthy appetites and motion sickness relief. The crew will start scientific work Wednesday and plan a Christmas space walk to study a passing comet Kohoutek.
