Acreage Increase Possibility in Tobacco 1961
Raleigh AP reports J B Hutson of Tobacco Associates says a 10 percent rise in flue cured tobacco acreage may be justified in 1961 if price problems are solved. He added price clarity could support a 5 percent increase for 1960 if conditions improve.
