Parkway work continues into winter on Blue Ridge route
Raleigh reports the Blue Ridge Parkway project will extend through winter with bids issued for bridges not yet instructed. About 74 miles of the parkway in North Carolina are under construction, including the area from Deep Gap to Blowing Rock with surface work pending.
