Listen World by Elsie Robinson Inspires Humble Joys
A reflective poem recounts a shift from chasing grand visions to valuing small, lasting joys. The speaker recalls restless youth and glamorous dreams, then finds real happiness in simple things like family, home, hard work, and nature, recognizing love and modest favors as enduring.
Card play lesson on declarer safety leads and break
The prose explains a misplay by leading ace or king when void of queen and key suit, advising a low lead to test follower’s ability. If second hand cannot follow, declarer wins with a high honor and later targets the four missing cards. if follower can, the suit stays 3-1 and the defender’s holdings remain hidden.
