Miss Lois Marion Harris and Lt. R Backer married after a ceremony with organist Fielding Kearns and vocalist Mrs. Stanford Turner. The bride wore ivory lace and satin with a train and veil. she will teach elementary grades and plans to live in El Paso. Lt. Backer, a Fort Bliss lieutenant, is a VPI graduate.
