KKK Rally Slated At Jamestown
A crude sign along Jamestown Guilford Road proclaims a Ku Klux Klan rally and cross burning near Jamestown Saturday night at 8. Deputies will oversee crowd order as residents report no one witnessed the sign’s erection Monday night. A $25 reward note asks for information identifying the sign’s maker. Mrs Mamie Edders says she lives nearby but knows nothing about the organizers. The sign references the N C KKK chapter and appears on property owned by Evelyn Larson of Pomona.
