Five Wrigglesworth children aged from a year and a half to eight were burned to death when a trailer converted two room dwelling burned on Gordon Raymond farm one and a half miles north of Olivet Michigan The parents and Raymond were in the barn as flames started believed caused by a oil lamp or small heating stove.
In Lyndhurst New Jersey on November 12 AP reports a dog named Spottie a fox terrier caused a three way traffic accident resisted officers jaywalked and was photographed with a criminal ID tag before being released to his owner Mrs John fluff and accomplice Otto Bayer.

Booth in Huntington West Virginia on charges of demanding fifty thousand dollars for the release of Dr James I Seder a 79 year old former minister abducted from his Huntington home November 1 Booth confessed involvement in the abduction and a fifty thousand dollar ransom letter dated November 6 implicating Orville Atkins and John Travis who remain at large Dr Seder was found exhausted near an abandoned coal mine seven miles outside Wayne West Virginia and is recovering in hospital after eleven days of captivity
Fire destroyed Memorial hall at Boiling Springs Junior College Nov 12 with estimated damages above 50000 dollars. Students and town residents helped fight the blaze but could not stop it. classes to resume next Tuesday.
