Dr. J Lem Stokes president will speak at 9 45 a m Sunday school session in Thomasville followed by a luncheon in the fellowship hall attendees are asked to bring a basket for the meal.

Dr Roy Watts retired minister of First Church will fill the pulpit at First Baptist Church Sunday during morning worship. He served the local church about 16 years before retiring last March and now lives with Mrs Watts on Rotary Drive.
Leslie N. Winslow pastor of Asheboro Friends Meeting will speak at Deep River Friends Meeting November 12 to 17 with services at 7 30 p m daily through Friday The Men's Chorus and Choir lead the music and a nursery is available The event is open to the public
The series continues with mission field experiences and visuals. A 5 pm fellowship supper follows, and tomorrow missionaries lead Sunday school at 9 45 am and 11 am services. A 6 30 pm youth meeting caps the day, led by Rev. C D Walker, with the event open to the public.
The Reverend S McLendon pastor of Pentecost Church of God will speak at Saint Anthony Temple on Fairview Street Sunday at 3 p m.
Crestwoodran Church will install newly elected officers early next month. The Board of Elders includes Thomas B. Hilliard, Mrs. T. J. Hutchens, James Gaston and D. L. Lanier. The Board of Deacons features Mrs. W. R. Rinehart, Zack Anderson, Paul Hoar, Lane Hill, Larry McSwain, Joe Morris and Herbert Hurley.
