Emry C Green president of Pilot Life Insurance Company will speak at the High Point Life Underwriters Association monthly meeting on Wednesday November 22 in the Elwood Hotel main dining room. Born March 4 1899 in Weldon North Carolina he moved to Atlanta as a youth, served in the U S Navy, and rose through roles at Jefferson Standard Life before joining Pilot Life in 1933 becoming president in 1934 at age 35. His leadership is noted as a standout in the insurance field and he holds multiple directorships and civic roles.
