Spartanburg S C November 9 Rhee Gault twenty seven is held under police guard at a hospital on a technical murder charge connected with the death of Bernice Pennington twenty three of Drayton killed in an early morning auto wreck on the city outskirts. A coroner inquest is set for late today. The car driven by Gault plunged into a ditch and struck a filling station front. Miss Pennington died instantly from a fractured skull. Gault suffered a crushed left shoulder and serious bruises.
