Cancer Society Launches Major Drive Against Breast Cancer

The American Cancer Society announced a total and concentrated attack on breast cancer citing a death rate of one American woman every 17 minutes. A new task force will promote early detection via mammography and thermography, with mobile units similar to TB campaigns. A NYC developed breast cancer mobile unit will start in Brooklyn next Thursday.
