Moscow marks the twelfth anniversary of the 1917 upheaval with a massive 17 mile parade in Red Square. Bread and meat sold at cost under bread cards, allegorical floats, and anti religious banners frame the event as leaders including Stalin and Voroshilov review marchers.

Charles Reader about 35, an agent for Metropolitan Life Insurance, was accidentally shot and seriously wounded in a relative's garage in Asheboro this afternoon. He had just returned from a hunting trip and was unable to talk. he was taken to Memorial hospital for treatment. Reader formerly lived in Asheboro and is married to Miss Virginia Winlingham.

In Chicago on November 7, federal revenue collectors led by Myrtle Tanner Blackridge and Robert E. Neely failed to enter the Druggan country estate to collect a 300000 back tax claim. Middleton New York report says Charles Adams killed Osman Johnson at Allain's Lake Nova Scotia. Johnson hid in alders when Adams fired thinking he saw an axe move, the bullet hitting the heart. Adams collapsed from shock and was hospitalized. Johnson was father to seven children.
