Xi Psi chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met at the Grover Dam home on Pine Ridge Drive for bridge and business. Mrs Gray Williamson presided over planning for a December 1 dinner dance at the Embassy Club. Nursing students promote two year program at UNC Woman's College
Mrs. Charles E Summey reports second year nursing students from UNC Woman's College visited Trinity High School Randolph Community and Central High School Ferndale Drive to describe the two year program. They noted same admission rules as other students and that the course leads to registered nurse qualification and an associate in applied science degree with all clinical work at Moses H Cone Memorial Hospital Greensboro.

The North Carolina Federation of Music Clubs endorses a Raleigh sponsored opera workshop by the National Grass Roots Opera Guild. Twelve scholarships are offered to Raleigh-area singers within 12 miles.
