Proper Supply Co. Inc. announces plans for a new furniture building on Main Street near the Exposition Building. The facility, to rise on a 297 by fifty foot site with a southwest offset, will include a full basement living space for about 200 men and a penthouse Furniture City Club likened to the New York Athletic Club. The project aims to host furniture markets year round with a cafeteria and offices on the streets level. The club would be open beyond furniture men and includes a proposed New York style social space.
