WACs Prove Essential Soldiers In War Effort
The Wacs are real soldiers capable of handling over 150 vital Army jobs from command posts to field operations. They support bomber and fighter missions, weather data, radio communications, and staff work. The corps is organized like other units with Army pay, totaling about 65,000 members now and a target of 70,000 more by year end.
