Vacation At Home Haven For Ten Year Club Members
The Ten Year Club at a large local furniture firm runs a year old lodge two and a quarter miles from the city beside a lake. It serves homeless salesmen and long employed staff with 56 members, 19 of whom have over ten years with the company. Members may bring guests, file advance signups, and stock the kitchen with staples for themselves and visitors. The club offers boats, archery, shuffleboard, and fishing, with a stone fireplace and personalized pipes for each member. Dallas Inc. founder J Sanders redesigned the log cabin, and plans include a modern summer house, barbecue pit, terraces, horseshoe and volleyball courts, to enhance this peaceful refuge.
