High Point Prepares Third Red Cross Roll Call
High Point plans its third Red Cross roll call from November 2 to 11. Last year 2,500 members enrolled. organizers aim to collect $1 per member again to meet the city quota. Half the funds stay in High Point to aid local sick and needy residents.

Salvation Army Officers Promoted to Asheville Field
In High Point, Captain and Mrs. G. Washburn, who have led the local Salvation Army for 14 months, are appointed to a new field with headquarters in Asheville and will leave next week. High Point Adopts Sanitary Privy Standard
The city passes an ordinance adopting the S. R. S. septic privy as standard. other privies require special permission. Sanisep privy tanks are offered at cost to citizens and state health board planners, with applications to city management. Outside corporate limits may apply as well.
