Five Die In Georgia Car Crash En Route From Florida
A head on collision on U S Route 201 near Jesup Georgia killed five people. The victims in the car were John William Janssen 66 and his wife Corrie Dobson Janssen 61 and Helen Bridges West 67 all of Winter Haven Florida. The truck drivers William J Bowman 31 and Dick Russell Hubbard 18 of Waycross Georgia also died. The car from Riviera Beach Florida pulled onto the road and struck the Janssen vehicle. The Janssen family included relatives connected to Queens College and local churches.
