High Point Kiwanians to See Play Coquette in Winston-Salem
The High Point Kiwanis club and their wives will attend the Shelton-Amos Players production of Coquette at the Auditorium theatre in Winston-Salem. The 8:30 pm performance will be seen by about 75 members and guests with free parking arranged at the Downtown garage on Main Street, escorted to the theatre by Winston-Salem Kiwanis members.

Probable Cause Found in Greensboro Assault Case
Joe Brown a Tennessee native was bound over to Guilford Superior Court after Judge Lewis E Teague found probable cause in a municipal court hearing. The alleged assault on Dora Blair occurred May 12 at the Stout residence near Greene Drug Store, with Brown denying the charges. Witnesses testified to injuries and the defendant's conduct, while Brown’s bond was set at 1500 dollars and he awaits further court action.
