At the May meeting of the African Violet Society a committee was named to plan a Judges School set for October 11 with Mrs. R. R. Blackburn as teacher. Officers announced, members spoke on African era troubles, and color slides from the recent show were shown.

Pupils of Mrs Bert Ishee will be presented in a piano recital tonight at eight o clock at the home of Mrs Stanley Taylor on Edeedale Drive. Radioactive salmon safe at Hanford Washington says a U S report. Each year 25000 salmon are hatched and raised at the atomic energy works to check the effect of radio activity. If anyone could hold that much he would have to eat 100 pounds of the salmon in a single sitting to get any noticeable amount of radioactive material.
