Miss Margaret Short, engaged to Ralph Zimmerman, is the forthcoming bride. Miss Martha Hayworth hosted an informal party at her West Bay Street home with games and a miscellaneous gift display. Gifts included silver and a white blanket. About fifty guests attended including Mrs. T. R. Short, Mrs. L. H. Zimmerman, and Miss Hazel Zimmerman. A separate shower was held at the Mills Home for Miss Short with gifts on display. Mrs. Nipper and Mrs. Mary Sawyer helped, and Miss Short resides at Biggs Home. A reception for the couple and Mills Home senior class is planned for May 31 in the institution’s main office, hosted by Mrs. Louise L. Blake.
