City Manager Schadt honored by Jeffersonian Heritage panels
Everett W. Schadt, city manager of Thomasville, received a fountain desk set from Raymond Yo ke ey after a 10 week Jeffersonian Heritage discussion series at the Thomasville branch of the Davidson County Library. Librarian Miss Ma Lee Crouse noted the experimental panel used recordings instead of a live moderator and 25 citizens participated. The program, drawn from a 1952 National Association of Educational Broadcasters radio series, sought reader texts to supplement recordings and evaluators urged future provision of such texts. Thomasville library was among two in the state conducting the evaluation, following an American Heritage discussion moderated by Rev. Charles Wessinger.
