An Unbalanced Stroke Fault in Putting
ART KRENZ NEA Service Golf Writer Horton Smith argues that a smooth stroke relies on balanced backswing and downswing. Do not lift the putter head or twist away from the ball. Smith is noted as a Masters winner in 1936 for a key 15th hole shot at Augusta National. Gene Sarazen’s 1935 double eagle is referenced in context.
