Wake Forest Wins Million Dollar Patriot Trust
The New York story reports Wake Forest College in North Carolina is entitled to the principal of a $1,375,000 patriot trust fund created by Jaden A. Bostwick. The fund, including 1,000 Standard Oil shares, would go to Wake Forest if Bostwick’s daughter and her husband failed to meet certain conditions. The court-appointed referee, Harry N French, reviewed the executors Farmers Loan and Trust Company case. The ruling notes the fund’s amount and that the loss would not greatly affect Mrs Coronoff’s heirs, given her large estate.
