Marsden-Slate Inc of High Point named exclusive selling agents in the southeastern states for Plyhide vinyl upholstery material from Plymouth Rubber Co. Marsden State will run southern offices at 625 Ward St with display rooms and warehouse space. Plyhide will debut in various patterns with inventory held at the High Point warehouse. Marsden State ended its tie with Bolta Division of General Tire on May 15.
Dr Harold P Hamilton dean at Kentucky Wesleyan College Owensboro has been named representative of the college at the World Methodist Council program in England in July as part of a 34 member American delegation. He will join the Oxford Institute of Methodist Theological Studies at Oxford University in July 1929 and help memorialize early Methodist origins in Oxford.
