North Carolina Garden Club members in Greensboro at the O Henry Hotel banquet during the 1953 convention awarded silver bowls books and scrolls. Honors went to Mrs James Tyler of Kinston for outstanding work and to Fayetteville Garden Club for exceptional horticulture efforts.
