Garden Council Bazaar Supports Local Garden Projects
The High Point Council of Garden Clubs sponsored a two day bazaar at the city lake pavilion with 32 clubs and 600 members. Proceeds fund poison oak and ragweed eradication, library reading rooms, junior clubs, garden plots, arts awards, and landscaping scholarships. Event honors past presidents Thursday at YWCA with reservations led by Mrs. Kemp and Mrs. Napier.
