RAF bombers hit Cologne in the Rhineland and docks at Boulogne on the French coast in sharp attacks. Bulletin from Louisville reports William A. Smith of Los Angeles elected president of the National Association of County Officers. Vice presidents named include R. F. Shaw of Greensboro North Carolina William S. Coburn of Chesterfield Virginia and Frederick R. Sullivan of Boston Massachusetts. A New York note says William H. Standard-Vacuum had ten, three damaged and under repair.
