Pablo Sidar and co-pilot perished when their plane crashed into the sea during a non-stop Mexico City to Buenos Aires attempt. The crash ends Sidar's bid and leaves a mystery for investigators and relatives. Captain Lewis Yancey and two companions paused in Washington to honor President Hoover before continuing toward South America aboard the Pilot Radio.
