Car Crash Kills Mac C. Teeter in Lexington
Mac C. Teeter 33 of Hickory died when an auto carrying him and two others overturned near Lexington after striking a dirt shoulder on highway No. 10. J B Harrison of Salisbury and a woman named Miss M L Barley of Charlotte were badly bruised. Harrison and Barley said the car rolled 130 feet on a steep downgrade. Teeter flew 40 feet and landed on concrete. No inquest or charges were filed. Teeter had a wife and three children, and both Teeter and Harrison worked for a Salisbury fruit concern.
