Woman, 74, shoots neighbor then surrenders after standoff
In Memphis a 74 year old woman wounded neighbor Lee Williams and held out for about an hour before surrendering to Lt. J D Tutor at 7 43 p m. Police say Williams was shot in the back of the head and is in serious condition at Methodist Hospital. Williams’s son David described a heated exchange that preceded the firing.
