Miss Sara Odell Doggett of Shelby is engaged to Charles Edward Diffendal Jr of High Point. She is a graduate of Appalachian State Teachers College and UNC, a former Clarkton teacher, and now with Fort Bragg Hospital Fayetteville. Diffendal is UNC graduate, member of Alpha Tau Omega and Gorgon's Head, now in business in High Point. Wedding planned for mid June.
