Mothers health pledge highlighted by Baptist Hospital in North Carolina
On Mother's Day the Baptist Hospital of North Carolina renewed its pledge to health care mothers. In 1942 four thousand mothers were treated with two who left unchanged. About one half of the care was provided free through a Mother's offering fund totaling 1992.13 from Baptist churches statewide. The Raleigh Diocese notes a two day Woman's Auxiliary meeting with leaders from Chapel Hill Sewanee State College and other church figures.
