Interracial merger formed among High Point ministers
In High Point the White High Point Ministers' Association and the Negro Interdenominational Ministers' Union voted to merge into a single interracial body, the High Point Ministers' Alliance, effective January 1, 1955. The move follows years of collaboration on Bible instruction and Brotherhood Week activities, reflecting internal drive rather than external pressure.
