Chicago May AP Judge Will M Sparks of the U S circuit court of appeals issued a habeas writ to hear Samuel Insull's petition for bond reduction. The hearing is set for 0:80 m tomorrow on his $200000 bond.

Chicago May 9 Judge Samuel Alschuler denied a motion to reduce the $200,000 bond for Samuel Insull held in county jail. The appeals judge said the matter was not properly before him. Attorney Floyd E. Thompson said he would seek bond reduction before another judge and may pursue habeas corpus to obtain Insull's release.
Samuel Insull will be arraigned in federal court Friday in two cases accusing him of mail fraud related to the sale of stock in Corporation Securities Inc and fraud under bankruptcy laws. He is jailed in Cook County and will appear before Judge Philip L. Sullivan. Other defendants in the mail fraud case have been arraigned. bankruptcy case defendants have not yet faced arraignment.

Hamm admitted an affair with Mrs. Nelson, and described his philosophy during police questioning. The Hamms had three years of marriage while the Nelsons were married six.
The Roosevelt administration reaffirmed its stance on war debts and silver at the White House. The day featured talks on stock exchange control and utility rate cases, with private discussions among legislators about upcoming controversies. Hull backed a congressional study of trading war debt concessions for tin supplies.
A police watch was placed on an abandoned car on Chicago’s South Side amid rumors that John Dillinger or his henchmen would use it. Sergt.
