Johnson Willing to Testify in Raleigh Graft Inquiry
Senator Rivers Johnson of Duplin County will not be forced to testify in the probe of the state board of health and sanitation laws. Attorney General Dennis Brummitt ruled that debates in the general assembly are privileged and not subject to investigation. Johnson expects to testify May 12 if possible and will submit evidence if prevented.
